The majority of what I do involves trial work, however, I can also help you in other areas of the law. Please give me a call or send me an email and tell me about your particular legal issue. As a rule, I respond to calls and emails within 24 hours. Of course, feel free to request an appointment.
About Me
Woody Davis
I was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. I attended Columbus High School and graduated from Columbus State University. After completing law school at Mississippi College School of Law, I began private practice in Metro Atlanta. My area of emphasis while in private practice was family law, but I also served as the City Attorney as well as the Assistant City Court Solicitor for the City of Mountain Park, Georgia.
After leaving private practice, I served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Enotah Judicial Circuit covering Lumpkin, White, Union and Towns counties. From there, I moved to the Toombs Judicial Circuit where I served as the Chief Assistant District Attorney for Glascock, Lincoln, McDuffie, Taliaferro, Warren and Wilkes counties. For 20 years, I was on the Basic Litigation Faculty of the Prosecuting Attorney's Counsel where I taught newly hired prosecutors how to win a jury trial.
I retired from state service in January of 2017, and opened my law office in Harlem, Georgia.
I am married and live in Thomson, Georgia. I am a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, an avid bass fisherman, hunter, and, every once in a while, I will play a round of golf.
As a Trial Lawyer, You Have to be Prepared to Stand Toe-to-Toe Against Any Adversary.
